ZetaChain Holders Overwhelmingly Vote to Migrate ZETA to Solana

ZetaChain holders have voted overwhelmingly to shut down their Layer 1 blockchain and migrate their native ZETA token to Solana, with a 99.4% approval rate in Proposal 68.

The vote reached 58% participation, well above the required 40% quorum, but the decision does not immediately take effect.

A second governance proposal will establish the migration process, including the final snapshot of user balances and token conversion, which is expected to be submitted once exchanges confirm their token-swap procedures.

After the migration, Solana would become the canonical network for ZETA, while ZetaChain would no longer operate its own independent validator network for the token.
