ZetaChain L1 Shuts Down with Quorum Approval
The ZetaChain L1 has been shut down following a vote by the Quorum, which passed with 99.4% approval and 58% turnout.
This decision opens the door for a second proposal that will lock in the snapshot block height, shutdown timeline, and token-swap process once exchanges are onboarded.
The ZetaChain team has decided to pivot focus to Anuma, its AI app launched in February 2026, which now has over 300K users and 1M+ requests across 35 models.
The shutdown of the L1 is due to a decrease in usage, following a difficult year that included a network suspension in April 2026 after a wallet compromise.
