ZetaChain Migrates to Solana Amid Push for Easier Integration

ZetaChain holders have voted to migrate their L1 blockchain and convert ZETA into a Solana SPL token, as part of a major protocol update aimed at easier integration with decentralized exchanges (DEX), centralized exchanges (CEX), and DeFi protocols.

The proposal, which was approved with 99.4% support, will see the shutdown of ZetaChain's L1 blockchain before its assets are transferred to Solana.

A second vote is still required to set the shutdown block, leaving timing and operational details pending.
