ZetaChain's native token, ZETA, is set to migrate from its own Cosmos-based Layer 1 blockchain to Solana, following a governance proposal that passed with 99.4% support and 58% participation.

The migration will see ZETA become an SPL token on Solana through a 1:1 conversion, retaining the same ticker and total supply. However, core contributors must still submit a second proposal defining the shutdown timetable for the existing Layer 1 blockchain.

ZetaChain cited operational burdens and shifting priorities as reasons for leaving its own chain, with the project now focusing on Anuma, a privacy-focused AI application, and the Private Memory Layer underneath it. Over 300,000 users have been reported to use Anuma, processing over one million requests across 35 AI models.
