ZetaChain Votes Overwhelmingly to Migrate to Solana
ZetaChain's proposed migration to Solana has received overwhelming support from its governance vote. With 99.4% of participating voters backing Proposal 68, the project is set to abandon its own blockchain and convert ZETA into a native SPL token on Solana at a one-to-one ratio.
The proposal would maintain the total supply of ZETA and allow existing vesting schedules to continue uninterrupted. Holders would receive equivalent balances on Solana, including locked and staked positions, as well as Anuma credits.
Anuma, a private AI application with over 300,000 users, would also migrate to Solana alongside ZETA. The project cited the maintenance burden of its current Cosmos-based Layer 1 as a key reason for the move, citing the recent security vulnerability in Cosmos EVM that affected six chains.
