Binance founder Changpeng Zhao has addressed speculation that his tweets move cryptocurrency markets. He denies having any influence over the price of Bitcoin, saying he tweets bullish content five to ten times daily without advance knowledge of significant events.

Zhao's tweet on August 19 drew attention due to a 20% rally in Bitcoin that unfolded just hours before Trump's crypto summit speech. However, Zhao explained that his tweet came from reading a quote about taking action today to build a better future, which he adapted into cryptocurrency commentary while on the road.

Zhao emphasized that it was coincidence rather than insider timing. 'If I had known, I would not have made that tweet,' he said.

The Binance founder also touched on whether the crypto market has reached saturation point. He pointed to global adoption figures suggesting crypto penetration remains under 1% worldwide, arguing significant room for growth still exists.
