Zk.money Returns to Ethereum with Enhanced Privacy Features
Zk.money, a privacy-focused wallet, has returned to Ethereum after a three-year absence. Aztec Labs announced that zk.money is now live on the Aztec Network, which provides a more secure and private environment for users.
The original zk.money was launched in 2021 but discontinued in 2023 due to technical constraints. However, the new version now runs on newer infrastructure developed by Aztec Labs.
The wallet uses zero-knowledge proof technology to shield user details from the public ledger, making it more difficult for others to track transactions. However, deposits made from Ethereum remain visible before entering the privacy network.
Aztec Labs has set limits on transaction amounts and fees, with individual deposits capped at $2,500 and a shared allowance of $50,000 across all users. The wallet also offers subsidized transactions for users who meet certain conditions.
