ZK-POSP Proofs Cut Generation Time by 95% for Cross-Chain Wallet Ownership Verification

AmericanFortress has developed a new zero-knowledge proof system called ZK-POSP that can verify cross-chain wallet ownership and cut proof generation from 30 minutes to about six seconds.

The system allows bridges to verify that source and destination wallets share the same hidden secret, potentially adding a new layer of security to DeFi services.

AmericanFortress claims its ZK-POSP proofs can prevent what they call 'substitution,' where an attacker or malware substitutes a different destination address without detection.
