Zumo Unveils Granular Crypto Regulation Tracker for UK Firms
Zumo, a UK digital asset firm, has launched a new tool to help crypto businesses navigate the upcoming wave of regulations in Britain. The Crypto Regulation Tracker is designed to provide detailed information on specific activities and regulatory obligations.
The tracker maps every individual regulatory obligation to the specific regulated activity it attaches to, unlike existing trackers that only summarize the regime at a high level. This means firms can see which specific rules apply to their operations and when, without having to hire outside legal teams for every question.
Nick Jones, founder and CEO of Zumo, emphasized the importance of building the tracker from inside the industry rather than observing it from a legal or advisory distance. He noted that law firms and consultancies often stop short of practical application, whereas Zumo's tool aims to provide actionable information for crypto businesses.
The tracker is continuously updated as new regulatory papers are released, ensuring it evolves alongside the regime itself. This ongoing maintenance could be crucial for firms trying to keep pace with the changing regulatory landscape.
