The US dollar closed trading on July 27 at $159.17, down by 19 cents from the previous day, according to Bank of Jamaica's daily exchange trading summary.

This represents a decrease in value against the Jamaican currency, as the US dollar is now worth less than it was yesterday.

The Canadian dollar, on the other hand, ended trading at $113.44, up from $113.30, while the British pound closed at $211.03, down from $212.99.
