Adidas posted a record-breaking revenue of €6.74 billion in the second quarter, driven by double-digit sales growth across key markets and strong demand for its FIFA World Cup 2026 and Originals collections.

The company's CEO Bjørn Gulden commented that 'the business in the quarter was also unbelievably strong: 14% growth in this volatile environment and an operating profit of €574 million euros despite us spending €212 million euros more in marketing'.

On a currency-neutral basis, apparel sales grew by 35% year-on-year in the second quarter, while accessories sales increased by 20%, and footwear sales rose by 1%.

Adidas has raised its outlook for 2026, expecting currency-neutral revenue growth of between 9% and 10%
