Air New Zealand operates some of the world's longest scheduled nonstop commercial routes, particularly between its Auckland Airport hub and destinations in North America. Using Cirium aviation analytics data from October 2026 to July 2027, Simple Flying examined Air New Zealand's longest scheduled routes.

The airline's longest route is from Auckland (AKL) to New York JFK (JFK), covering around 8,813 miles with a scheduled block time of 16 hours and ten minutes. This route will be the launch point for Air New Zealand's Economy Skynest on new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners in late December 2026.

Other notable long-haul routes include Auckland (AKL) to Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), which covers around 7,414 miles with a scheduled block time of almost 13 hours and 35 minutes.
