Armand Duka, head of the Albanian Football Association, was targeted in a €100,000 cryptocurrency scam.

Two men, introduced as Taulant Balla on Signal messaging app, initially requested payment in cryptocurrencies but later agreed to accept euros.

Duka suspected fraud and filed a police complaint after receiving a message from the perpetrators asking him to send money.

The two arrested men refused to give detailed statements about who was behind them, with main suspicions falling on Florian Gjergji.
