AllUnity Unveils USDAU, Its Fourth Fiat-Backed Stablecoin Pegged to the US Dollar
AllUnity has launched its fourth fiat-backed stablecoin, USDAU, which is pegged to the US dollar and available on multiple networks including Ethereum, Solana, Base, Tempo, Arc, and Polygon.
The token's launch marks an incremental step for AllUnity into the dollar market segment, complementing its existing MiCA-compliant offerings that include EURAU (euro-backed), CHFAU (Swiss franc-backed), and SEKAU (Swedish krona-backed).
According to CoinGecko data, US dollar-pegged stablecoins dominate the market with over 99% of global stablecoin capitalization.
AllUnity's CEO, Alexander Höptner, disputes the idea that Europe's core concern is the dollar itself. Instead, he argues that Europe's focus is on dollar liquidity flowing through offshore issuers without European supervision, enforceable redemption rights, and visibility into reserves.
