Almonty Shifts Listing Strategy Amid Production Ramp-Up
Almonty Industries is reorganizing its public market presence by delisting from the Toronto and Sydney exchanges, focusing instead on listings in Nasdaq and Frankfurt. This move aims to reduce costs and sharpen the company's profile among US institutional investors.
The company has made significant progress in consolidating its financial position, with a dramatic increase in cash reserves from 268.4 million Canadian dollars to 1.23 billion as of June 30, thanks to a convertible bond issuance. This influx allowed Almonty to retire its KfW IPEX-Bank credit facility in full.
The Sangdong mine's processing plant has reached full capacity for the first time, marking the end of the construction phase and beginning of revenue generation. Initial feed comes from a stockpile of run-of-mine ore grading 0.25 percent tungsten trioxide (WO?). Management expects early lower-grade material to serve as a calibration tool for plant optimization.
