AMS-Osram Stock Gains on Strong Q2 Results and Raised Target
Ams-Osram stock has gained after the company reported strong Q2 2026 results. Revenue increased by 3.9% to EUR 805 million, and the adjusted EBITDA margin reached 16.9%. The design wins valued at EUR 1.6 billion in Q2 2026 and EUR 2.5 billion over the first half of 2026 have provided visibility into future business.
Deutsche Bank Research has raised its target on AMS Osram to 19 Swiss francs from 16 Swiss francs, maintaining a Hold rating. The analyst's revised price target represents an 18.8% uplift in their target level, indicating improved confidence in the company's margin stabilization and design win pipeline.
Despite the positive results, analysts continue to highlight that AMS Osram's story is still fundamentally a turnaround rather than a mature, high-margin cash machine. The company remains unprofitable for several years and has a net loss of EUR 324.0 million on revenue of EUR 3,329.0 million.
