Armenia and Croatia explore ways to boost trade and economic ties
The Ambassador of Armenia to the Czech Republic, Ashot Hovakimian, recently visited Croatia to explore ways to strengthen trade and economic ties between the two countries. During his working visit, Hovakimian met with Irena Alajbeg, Director General of the Directorate General for Economic Affairs and Development Cooperation at Croatia’s Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs. The ambassador discussed Armenia’s economic development and efforts to diversify exports, emphasizing the significance of the EU’s autonomous trade measures granted to Armenia.
The meeting also covered opportunities to deepen trade and economic cooperation between Armenia and Croatia. Hovakimian further engaged with Silva Stipic Kobali, Director of the Business Internationalisation Centre at the Croatian Chamber of Economy. Their discussion focused on enhancing business cooperation and boosting economic relations between the two nations.
