Asian Markets Rally on Wall Street Strength and Falling Oil Prices
Asian markets largely rose on Friday, influenced by a strong performance on Wall Street and decreasing oil prices.
The Dow futures were up 0.2% to $52,299.00, while S&P 500 futures rose 0.3% to $7,729.50.
In Asia, Japan's benchmark Nikkei 225 gained 1.4% to finish at 65,018.95 after the Bank of Japan raised its benchmark interest rate to 1.25% from 1.0%, a 31-year high.
Falling oil prices and easing pressure from the bond market have been supporting Wall Street shares, which in turn are boosting global market sentiment.
