ASX Struggles with Regulatory Compliance Despite Improvement Efforts
The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) has found that ASX Ltd. is still not meeting regulatory requirements in several key areas.
According to a statement released by the central bank on Wednesday, one or more of ASX's clearing and settlement facilities have only 'partly observed' standards for governance, comprehensive risk management, credit risk, and operational risk.
The RBA's findings come as ASX aims to address ongoing concerns regarding its regulatory compliance. The exchange has been working to improve its practices and meet the expectations of the central bank.
