Atlantic Canada Business Leaders Call for Single Economy

A group of business leaders in Eastern Canada is calling for a 'single economy' between Atlantic provinces, which they believe could make the region one of the country's most prosperous.

The Atlantic Economic Panel, made up of seven well-known executives and entrepreneurs, released a report on Friday that outlines a plan to transform the four provinces into a single economic entity by 2035.

According to the panel, a single economy would allow the region to leverage its abundant talent and resources more effectively, leading to increased economic growth and prosperity.
