Bank of Canada Governor Tiff Macklem stated that U.S. tariffs are having less impact on the Atlantic region's economy than other parts of the country, but inflation is stinging more.
Macklem made these comments during a speech in Halifax on Monday.
Nova Scotia and its surrounding regions are less exposed to tariffs compared to provinces like Quebec and Ontario.
