Atlantic Provinces Push for Unified Economy
Business leaders from Eastern Canada have called for a unified economy between the Atlantic provinces. The proposal aims to reduce trade barriers and increase economic cooperation among Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
The idea was put forward by a group of business leaders who met in Halifax, Nova Scotia. They believe that a single economy would boost trade and economic growth in the region.
Atlantic Canadian business leaders argue that their region's economy is often overlooked by policymakers in Ottawa. By promoting regional economic integration, they hope to increase investment and job creation in Eastern Canada.
