AUD/IDR Rebound Fades Amid Persistent Selling Pressure
The Australian Dollar against the Indonesian Rupiah (AUD/IDR) has experienced a modest rebound, rising by 0.6% today due to technical momentum and intraday buying activity.
However, this advance appears limited as the pair remains below its key short- and medium-term averages. The 20-day moving average stands at IDR 12,583, while the 50-day average is at IDR 12,622. This indicates persistent selling pressure in the short to medium term.
Despite trading below these averages, the AUD/IDR remains above its 200-day moving average of IDR 12,374, reflecting ongoing longer-term support amid this selling pressure.
The Ichimoku Kijun at IDR 12,264 provides immediate support for the pair's price action. Resistance is found at the near-term ceiling of IDR 12,550, while momentum indicators reveal a strong bearish tone in the market.
