AUD/INR Tumbles on Strong Bearish Signals Amid RBI Reforms

The Australian dollar has been trading flat against the Indian rupee, but technical indicators suggest a bearish outlook. The AUD/INR pair is currently sitting below its short- and medium-term moving averages while remaining above long-term trend support.

The Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) efforts to stabilize the rupee have included liberalizing foreign investment and facilitating overseas capital inflows. This has led to Indian banks raising FCNR(B) deposit rates, attracting approximately $49 billion in foreign capital since June.

Technical analysis suggests a strong bearish bias for AUD/INR, with a projected trading range of ₹66.4268 to ₹67.0944 over the next few days. The probability of a downward move is elevated at 71%, while only a 29% chance of a short-term rebound.
