AUDNZD Divergence Favors Aussie Dollar Amid Central Bank Split

The AUD/NZD currency pair continues to show a significant divergence between the two central banks, and this has been reflected in its pricing over time.

On Wednesday, the Australian dollar initially attempted a rally but gave back some of those gains as exhaustion may be setting in.

Christopher Lewis, a technical analyst at DailyForex, is looking for buying opportunities in the pair. He identifies the 1.23 level as a significant support area that previously served as resistance.

The interest rate differential still favors the Australian dollar over the New Zealand dollar, and the Reserve Bank of Australia's hawkish stance contrasts with the RBNZ's more neutral or dovish direction.
