Baltic Classifieds Switches Share Trading Currency to Euros
Baltic Classifieds Group PLC has announced plans to change the trading currency of its ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange from GBP to EUR. The change is set to take effect at the beginning of September 2026 and will align the company's reporting currency with its trading currency.
The company generates all its revenue, earnings, and cash flows in euros, which it reports in the same currency. This move aims to simplify financial reporting for investors and stakeholders.
Baltic Classifieds Group operates as an online classifieds group in the Baltics and has stated that the change will not affect its listing on the London Stock Exchange or membership with FTSE Russell and the Financial Conduct Authority. Shareholders are not required to take any action, but those who wish to receive dividends in sterling may make a currency election with Equiniti.
