Bank of America Sees Euro Reaching 1.15 vs Dollar by End-2026
Bank of America has released its latest currency forecast, predicting that the euro will reach 1.15 against the U.S. dollar by the end of 2026 and 1.20 by the end of 2027. The bank's outlook, published in a report titled 'G10 FX back-to-school: dollar unloaded' on September 8, 2026, also suggests that the dollar will remain near current levels against most G10 currencies, excluding the Japanese yen, before depreciating modestly in 2027.
This forecast is slightly more optimistic than the consensus median forecast, which predicts a euro value of 1.17 by the end of 2026 and 1.19 by the end of 2027. The bank made minimal adjustments to its currency profiles, but did revise its forecasts for Antipodean and Nordic currencies since last month.
