The Bank of Canada is facing another complaint from the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) over its handling of replacement workers during a months-long strike by security guards.

On July 7, the Canada Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) found that the bank had violated the Canadian Labour Code by paying workers from private security firms and those who crossed the picket line.

The board ordered the bank to stop using these replacement workers, but on July 22, it was discovered that the bank was still using them from a different firm.

PSAC claims that unionized workers who crossed the picket line continued to receive pay until at least July 24, despite the second labour board decision.
