Bank of Canada Hits the Road with Interactive Money Exhibit for Kids
The Bank of Canada is taking its educational exhibit on the road to teach kids about money. The 'Money in 10 Questions: Kids Edition' exhibition, developed by the Bank of Canada Museum, features interactive displays and games that explore concepts such as compound interest and entrepreneurship.
The idea for the exhibition was born from over 800 questions submitted by Canadian children in 2020 when the Bank of Canada Museum asked them what they wanted to know about money. The exhibition is built around 10 of these questions, including 'Why do you have to work for money?' and 'Can money be dinosaur bones?'
The exhibit will run at Joseph Brant Museum until January 23, 2027, before embarking on a national tour managed by Ingenium, Canada's Museums of Science and Innovation.
