Bank of England Relocates Leeds Office to Capitol House

The Bank of England has announced plans to move its Leeds office to Capitol House in Bond Court. The new location will provide modern space that supports collaboration and innovation, allowing the Bank to better reflect the people, businesses, and communities it serves.

The current base at Yorkshire House will be replaced by the new office, which is expected to accommodate the growing headcount of around 300 colleagues in Leeds.

The Governor of the Bank of England, Andrew Bailey, stated that the move strengthens the Bank's presence across the UK and helps ensure its work better reflects the region's economic future.
