BCSE Sees Gains in Major Currencies at Start of August
The Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE) started August with gains for several major currencies. The U.S. dollar saw an increase of 0.08%, or 0.23 kopecks, to 2.9081 Belarusian rubles. The euro also gained ground by 0.09%, or 0.3 kopecks, to 3.3443 Belarusian rubles.
The Chinese yuan added 0.23% to its value, trading at 4.3234 Belarusian rubles after increasing by 0.99 kopecks. In contrast, the Russian ruble weakened by 0.21%, or 0.77 kopecks.
