Belarus Rubel Hits New Low Against Dollar at BCSE

The Belarusian rubel has continued its downward trend against major currencies, hitting a new low on August 17. At the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE), the rubel depreciated to 3.0131 per US dollar.

This is a 0.37% loss in value over the first seven months of 2026 against the dollar. In contrast, the rubel has strengthened by 1.58% against the Russian ruble since last week (August 10, August 14).

The rubel has also weakened against other major currencies: it dropped to 3.4909 per euro and 4.4982 per 10 yuan.
