Belarusian Currencies See Gains, Ruble Takes Hit
The Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange wrapped up trading on August 10, ending with positive results for several major currencies. The dollar was among the top performers, increasing by 0.51% to 2.9634 Belarusian rubles. This represents a rise of 1.51 kopecks from the previous day.
The euro also saw an increase, gaining 0.27% or 0.91 kopecks to reach 3.4105 Belarusian rubles. In contrast, the Russian ruble declined by 0.64%, or 2.34 kopecks, with 100 Russian rubles valued at 3.606 Belarusian rubles.
The yuan was another currency that saw a rise in value, gaining 0.15% or 0.64 kopecks to be priced at 4.419 Belarusian rubles for ten units.
