Belarusian Rubel Dives Against Major Currencies on BCSE
The Belarusian rubel has depreciated against several major currencies on September 17 at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE).
The rubel lost value to 3.0279 against the US dollar, a decline from previous weeks when it rose by 1.54 percent against the greenback.
Against the Chinese yuan, the rubel dropped to 4.5214 per 10 yuan, a decrease of 1.59 percent compared to last week's appreciation.
In contrast, the Belarusian currency fared better against the euro and Russian ruble, rising to 3.4754 per euro and 3.5993 per 100 Russian rubles.
