Belarusian Rubel Gains Strength Against Major Currencies at BCSE
The Belarusian rubel has strengthened against major currencies at the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE). As of September 21, the rubel is trading at 3.0222 against the US dollar, 3.4599 per euro, and 3.5935 per 100 Russian rubles. However, it dropped to 4.5192 per 10 yuan. This shift comes after a week of gains for the Belarusian currency.
Last week, from September 14 to 18, the rubel gained 0.15 percent against the dollar, 1.2 percent against the euro, and 0.34 percent against the Russian ruble. In contrast, it lost 4.72 percent against the dollar in the first eight months of 2026.
