Belarusian Rubel Posts Slight Gains Against Major Currencies
The Belarusian rubel has shown a slight gain against several major currencies in the week's final trading session. At the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE), the rubel strengthened to 3.0234 against the US dollar, up 0.15% from last week. The currency also rose to 3.4676 per euro, a 1.2% increase, and climbed to 4.5192 per 10 yuan, a gain of 0.25%. The rubel further appreciated to 3.5957 against the Russian ruble, a rise of 0.34%. However, it's worth noting that over the first eight months of this year, the Belarusian currency has actually lost value against the dollar by 4.72%.
