Belarusian Rubel Shows Strength Against Key Currencies

The Belarusian rubel has shown strength in its value against several key currencies. At the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE), the rubel reached a rate of 3.0276 against the US dollar, up from previous weeks. The currency also gained ground against the euro and yuan, reaching rates of 3.441 per euro and 4.5145 per 10 yuan.

However, it's worth noting that the rubel did lose value against the Russian ruble, dropping to 3.5914 per 100 Russian rubles. The outgoing week saw a modest decline in the rubel's value against the dollar, losing 0.14 percent, but gains were made against the yuan (0.1 percent), euro (0.77 percent), and Russian ruble (0.12 percent).

In the first eight months of this year, the Belarusian currency has lost a significant 4.72 percent of its value against the US dollar.
