BGK and EIF Pump €30 Million into Polish Tech Startups
The European Investment Fund (EIF) and Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) have joined forces to support Polish tech startups through a new venture capital fund.
The EIF and BGK have committed €30 million to the Inovo.vc fund, managed by Inovo.vc, to provide capital to early-stage technology companies in Poland.
This investment is part of the Future Tech Poland program, which aims to expand Poland's venture capital ecosystem and increase investment in innovative businesses.
The EIF Chief Executive Marjut Falkstedt said that this investment supports the program's objective of strengthening Poland's innovation economy and backing technology companies from their early stages.
BGK Management Board Member Jarosław Dąbrowski added that the transaction represents another step in strengthening Poland's competitiveness and domestic venture capital ecosystem, with BGK planning to allocate over 40 percent of the total Future Tech Poland funds by the end of 2026.
