Binance Coin Price Slips Amid Fed's Stablecoin Proposals
The Federal Reserve recently proposed two rules for supervising payment-stablecoin issuers under the GENIUS Act, which has sparked interest in stablecoins and their role in trading, settlement, and access to digital dollars. The Binance Coin price today slipped to around $762 on September 28, down from recent levels near $800, as the wider crypto market cooled.
The proposals invite public comment and aim to ensure that stablecoin reserves are sufficient and that issuers are properly supervised. Despite this development, it has not produced a straightforward rally in the Binance Coin price today.
