The Bitcoin price has been hovering around $79,600 on September 7, 2026, after falling to a low of $76,700 on September 5 and briefly returning above $80,000.

The Federal Reserve's decision on interest rates is set for September 16, with the probability of a hike now back at around 50% after Governor Christopher Waller's cautious comments.

The European Central Bank (ECB) also raised its deposit rate to 2.25% in June and may increase it again in September, citing rising energy prices.
