BMO Downgrades Linamar Stock Amid Price Target Revision
Linamar Corp., a Canadian auto-parts and industrial machinery group, saw its stock price fall on September 18, 2026 after BMO Capital Markets downgraded it to Market Perform from an earlier positive stance.
The analyst firm also set a new price target of 105.00 Canadian dollars for the company's shares, which were trading in the mid-90 Canadian dollar range at the time.
Linamar shares lost 3.39 Canadian dollars, or about 3.4 percent, to close at 96.20 Canadian dollars following the rating cut and price target revision.
The downgrade weighed on several auto and industrial names, including Magna International, which also saw its stock price decline.
