BoE Keeps Interest Rate Unchanged Amid Rising Inflation
The Bank of England has maintained its interest rate at 3.75% despite rising inflation and energy price pressures.
In a closely watched decision, the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) voted 6-3 to keep rates unchanged.
This move comes as energy prices continue to surge, causing inflation to rise. However, three members of the MPC supported a hike in interest rates to 4%.
