BOJ Monetary Base Contraction Slows Slightly in September
The Bank of Japan's monetary base continued to contract in September, falling by 15.2% compared to the same month last year.
This decline was slightly narrower than the 15.7% drop seen in August.
The total amount of currency supplied by the central bank stood at ¥532.8464 trillion (approximately $3.4 trillion), down from ¥543.7652 trillion (approximately $3.4 trillion) the previous month.
