The Bank of Japan's (BOJ) upcoming meeting has strategists anticipating a potential disappointment for investors. According to analysts at Wells Fargo & Co. and Citigroup Inc., the BOJ will be less hawkish than expected, leading to a weakening Japanese yen.

Citigroup is particularly bearish on the yen, predicting it may reach 159 per dollar over the next few weeks. The current exchange rate stands at 156.02 per dollar as of Friday morning in Tokyo.
