Bowman Enters Ontario Liberal Leadership Race

Stephanie Bowman, an Ontario Liberal caucus member representing Don Valley West in the legislature, has joined the race to become the party's next leader. She aims to build a competitive party across the province.

Bowman worked in finance before being elected in 2022 and served as a member of the Bank of Canada's board. This experience makes her a unique candidate in the running for leadership.

The election concludes on November 21, with Bowman competing against fellow caucus members Lee Fairclough and Navdeep Bains, former federal cabinet minister, among others. The party is looking for a leader who can revitalize its presence across Ontario.
