CAD Gains Strength as Tensions Between US and Iran Escalate
The Canadian dollar gained strength compared to its US counterpart on Thursday morning.
At 9:20 am CDT, the Canadian dollar traded at US$0.7136 or US$1=C$1.4013, up from Wednesday's close of US$0.7101 or US$1=C$1.4083.
The ongoing conflict between the US and Iran showed no signs of resolution, with both sides continuing to trade attacks.
