Cambodia Chamber of Commerce Expands Presence in France through New Liaison Office

The Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC) is expanding its presence in France by establishing a liaison office in Paris, aiming to promote investment ties between the two countries.

This move comes as part of efforts to attract foreign direct investment and diversify Cambodia's economy. The CCC currently has eight liaison offices overseas, including in key markets such as the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.

The new liaison office in Paris will focus on promoting Cambodia's investment laws, economic policies, and potential to attract investors. CCC Vice-President Lim Heng said that through its activities in France, the chamber will seek to introduce French businesses to investment opportunities in key sectors such as manufacturing, agriculture, and agro-processing.

The initiative is expected to support Cambodian companies seeking international partnerships, technology, expertise, and access to overseas markets. As a leading European economic ally, French foreign direct investment in Cambodia reached 692 million euros, or around $790 million, as of 2025, up 25 percent from the previous year.
