Canada Invites 2,000 Skilled Foreign Workers in Latest Express Entry Draw
Canada has invited 2,000 skilled foreign workers to apply for permanent residence through its latest Express Entry draw. The candidates needed a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of at least 519 to receive an invitation.
The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draw was conducted by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on Tuesday. This pathway is designed for skilled workers with qualifying Canadian work experience.
According to IRCC spokesperson Matthew Krupovich, 'This initiative will target individuals who are already contributing to Canada's economy across a wide range of in-demand sectors, including in rural areas and known labour gaps, acknowledging their strong roots in their communities and their contributions to Canada's economy.'
