Canada Launches $1 Billion Farm Credit Initiative Amid Global Food Security Pressures

The Government of Canada has announced a Farm Credit to strengthen food security and grow the economy. The move comes as trade shifts, global conflict, and climate change put pressure on food systems worldwide. Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food Heath MacDonald launched Farm Credit Canada's (FCC) $1 billion Agri-food Project Finance Fund and $150 million to Velocity Agri.
