Canada's Economy Stalls Amid Slowing Growth
Canada's Ivey Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) dropped to its lowest level since March, hitting 55.1 in July after a reading of 56.2 in June.
The gauge of employment dipped to an adjusted 52.2 from 53.6 in June, while the adjusted prices index rose to 75.5 from 73.7.
This indicates that Canadian economic activity expanded at a slower pace last month, with employment declines and accelerating price increases.
